Quicksand

Needless to say, Quicksand is not something pleasant to fall into. Monsters are usually strong enough and clever enough to escape, but without rope, they can lose a lot of time, and may even be injured. If you're paranoid of Quicksand then just stay out of the unfriendly confines of swamp terrain.
